Carin Leon - Boca Chueca Tour 2025

Der mexikanische Singer-Songwriter Carín León ist nicht weniger als ein lateinamerikanischer Superstar. Seine Hits „Según Quién“ mit Maluma, „Primera Cita“ und „QUE VUELVAS“ mit Grupo Frontera sind in spanisch-sprachigen Teilen der Welt fast schon allgemeines Kulturgut und haben jeweils allein bei Spotify über 800 Millionen Streams gesammelt. León hat mehrere Latin Grammys und Grammys im Regal stehen und gilt als Botschafter mexikanischer Country-Musik. Dem amerikanischen Rolling Stone sagte er im vergangenen Jahr kurz nach seinem Auftritt beim Coachella Festival: „Bevor ich anfing, mich mit Country-Musik zu beschäftigen, hetzte ich wie verrückt einem Hit hinterher, der nie kam. Ich war müde und frustriert darüber, dass ich Musik machen musste, die ich nicht machen wollte. Als ich anfing, die Musik zu machen, die ich wirklich mochte und begann, mexikanischen Folk mit amerikanischen Country-Elementen zu verbinden, spürte ich im Herzen, dass ich damit auf dem richtigen Weg bin.“
Erst im Dezember erschien Carín León aktuelles Album „Palabra De To’s“, seine Tour trägt aber noch den Titel des Vorgängers „Boca Chueca Vol. 1“. Nachdem er Ende Oktober schon in Madrid vor 17.000 begeisterten Fans im WiZink Center sein Europa-Live-Debüt gab und damit gleich einen Zuschauerrekord brach, kehrt León diesen Sommer noch einmal nach Europa zurück und macht gleich zwei Stopps in Deutschland.

Last year, shortly after his appearance at the Coachella Festival, he told the American Rolling Stone: “Before I started getting into country music, I was frantically chasing a hit that never came. I was tired and frustrated that I had to make music I didn't want to make. When I started making the music I really liked and started combining Mexican folk with American country elements, I felt in my heart that I was on the right track with this.”
Carín León's latest album, “Palabra De To's”, was released in December, but his tour is still titled after its previous release, “Boca Chueca Vol. 1”. After his European live debut at the end of October in front of 17,000 enthusiastic fans at the WiZink Center in Madrid, breaking a record attendance, León returns to Europe again this summer and is making two stops in Germany.
